Burlington Pickleball Association

Fall League 2024

Registration is required for all sessions, and participants must be BPA members in good standing.

Fall League registration opened on Thursday, August 8th:  Click here to view the schedule

Subbing Opportunities

If you are a current BPA member in good standing, you are welcome to sub for other players (at the same level) during any session. Substitution opportunities can be found through our Sub Chat. We kindly ask that you limit subbing to once per week to allow others the opportunity to participate.

Please note you cannot sell your sessions as a package through the sub chat. If you are unable to finish a league, contact us so we can look into a refund and offer the spot to someone who is on our waitlist.

How Do I Know Which Session Is Right for Me?

Historically, the evening and weekend sessions have been on the more competitive/higher play side while our daytime sessions tend to be a bit more relaxed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at info@burlingtonpickleball.ca

For everyone’s comfort and safety, we ask that you please register for the correct level for your playing ability. Not sure what level you are? You can perform a self-check here or you can register for an Ask the Expert Clinic through the City of Burlington to get feedback on your level of play.

Please note: if you register for a session that does not match your level of play, you will be moved to a more appropriate session if available. If a session is not available, you will be refunded.

Pickleball Etiquette

Greet other players or introduce yourself prior to the start of a game and shake hands or exchange pleasantries with them after the game, regardless of the outcome.

When serving, always call out the score prior to serving (this is not just etiquette, but a rule).

Understand and adhere to the rules of the game to maintain fairness and sportsmanship. Do your best to maintain fair line calls during game play.

Maintain awareness of, and respect for, neighbouring courts, whether playing or waiting to play. When a ball is hit onto another court from your court, call “Ball!” so that play may stop right away and indicate to whom the ball should be returned.

Be supportive of others and maintain a positive attitude, even when things aren’t going your way.

Please take the time to review our association's Code of Conduct.
